Black-throated Green Warbler

Many of the Black-throated Green Warblers travel by the east coast during fall migration. They breed in boreal forests of northern New England, Canada, some parts of the midwest, and northern Arkansas. Their sweet song in the spring,"zee zee zee zoo zee," or "trees, trees, murmuring trees," can be heard high in the tree tops as they glean insects from leaves. The Black-throated Green Warbler has been known to live six years according to banding records.
